Grow A Row- you can help your neighbors in need!

Grow A Row

There are nearly 28,000 people in our county that are food insecure. The Grow a Row Program gives YOU an opportunity to get involved to make sure neighbors in your community do not experience hunger.

Getting involved is easy!

If you have your own garden, farm, or work with a community garden we’re asking you to plant an extra “row” of whatever you grow (fruits or vegetables) to donate to your local food pantry.

To sign up for the program please fill out the pledge form here. Throughout the growing season you will receive emails with helpful information and reminders to send us your monthly donation information.

That’s it! It’s that simple. When you are ready to harvest your produce you can bring it to a local food pantry of your choice or you can bring it to the CCE Niagara County office to distribute through the Veggie Van program. Please check with your local food pantry for drop off times, what they can accept, etc.

A limited supply of free seeds are available at CCE Niagara’s Seed Library. Open M-Th 9am-2pm at CCE Niagara 4487 Lake Ave., Lockport until July 1, 2025.

This is great way to help our neighbors and friends in Niagara County!
