Tractor Parade

Antique Tractor Parade

The Niagara County Fair Antique Tractor Show & Parade is one of the fair’s most anticipated traditions, bringing together beautifully restored classics, working tractors with decades of history, and the people who keep our agricultural heritage alive.

Whether you’ve participated for years or are considering joining us for the first time, we invite you to be part of this year’s event. Returning exhibitors are encouraged to spread the word and invite fellow collectors and enthusiasts; every additional tractor helps make the show and parade an even more impressive experience for participants and fairgoers alike.

Important Updates for 2026

Parade staging will begin at 5:30 p.m. The parade will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.

A new parade route, access point, and expanded tractor display area have been implemented to improve traffic flow, provide additional display space, and enhance safety as tractors enter, exit, and return to their designated parking areas.

Participants may begin parking tractors in the designated display area as early as Sunday, August 2. If you have any questions about where to park, please see CCE staff for directions.

You are welcome to display your tractor throughout the fair, although it is not required. Leaving tractors on display allows fair visitors to enjoy and appreciate these historic machines even when the parade is not taking place.

Registration

The fastest and easiest way to register for the Antique Tractor Show & Parade and complete the required Hold Harmless Agreement is through our new online registration system.

Participants who prefer a paper registration may complete the required forms in person at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Niagara office before the parade or on parade day.

Please note that all registrations and Hold Harmless Agreements must be completed by 4:00 p.m. on parade day to be eligible for prizes.

No registrations will be accepted after that time.

Registering in advance is strongly encouraged and helps us organize the parade lineup and staging area more efficiently.

Safety Rules & Participant Acknowledgement

The safety of participants, volunteers, and fairgoers is our highest priority. This year’s updated parade route, access point, and expanded display area have been designed to reduce congestion and create a safer environment for everyone involved.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), tractors are involved in nearly 40% of farm-related fatalities. With that in mind, all participants are expected to operate their equipment responsibly and comply with the following safety requirements.

Passenger Policy

  • Open tractors (without an enclosed cab): Only the driver may ride on the tractor. No passengers are permitted.
  • Enclosed cab tractors: One (1) seated passenger may accompany the driver inside the enclosed cab. No additional riders are permitted.
  • Drivers must be at least 16 years of age, or 14 years of age with proof of successful completion of a Tractor Safety Course.
  • No candy or other objects may be thrown from tractors or parade entries.

Fair staff and volunteers will be positioned throughout the staging area and parade route to monitor compliance with these rules.

Any participant observed violating tractor safety requirements - including carrying unauthorized passengers or operating in an unsafe manner will:

  • Forfeit eligibility for any awards or prize money earned.
  • Become ineligible to participate in future Niagara County Fair Antique Tractor Shows and Parades.
  • Be subject to removal from the event at the discretion of fair management.

These policies are intended to prevent accidents and ensure that every participant and spectator can enjoy a safe and memorable event.
