Farm to School lesson plans and curriculum are designed to teach students about their local food system, engage them in meaningful, hands-on learning activities that strengthen their school’s Farm to School program, and link them directly with farmers in their community. Implementation of the curriculum in a school setting gives students ownership and commitment to their school’s Farm to School program.
Curriculum and Lesson Plans align with state and national standards and can be taught consecutively as a unit or teachers can add in single lesson plans that compliment the unit or season as they see fit.
