Join us for our 2020 Amateur Pie Baking Competition!
This competition is open to any amateur pie baker, any age, who is a resident of New York State. No professional chefs or bakers or any other person who regularly makes pies for pay.
Awards: Closed judging will take place Friday July 10, 2020. Contest results will be posted on the CCE website on July 13, 2020 and award winners will be contacted to pick up ribbons. Please note that judging is a CLOSED event but Facebook events requires us to include a date and time.
Drop off Times: Thursday July 9, 8am-6pm or Friday July 10, 8am-12pm.
Drop off location: 4487 Lake Avenue, Lockport—CCE Administration building.
Judging will be based on the following evaluation categories:
pre-slice/first impression
after slice impression,
first taste
flavor/closer look
mouthfeel,
crust
overall impression
creativity
