Niagara County 4-H livestock auction at the Niagara County Fair! Friday August 1. Bidder registration opens at 5pm. Live auction at 6pm. Niagara County Fair runs July 30-August 3, 2025.
This auction program promotes the future of local agriculture. By registering as a bidder at our Annual 4-H Livestock Auction you are supporting a more sustainable food system! Join the agricultural community in recognizing and celebrating our local youth farmers. By purchasing an animal sold at the auction, you are helping finance the future of a 4-H member. Members typically use profits to finance future market animal projects and post secondary education.
The Niagara County 4-H Livestock auction will have over 90 lots of beef cattle, lambs, hogs, meat birds, rabbits, and meat goats, raised by Niagara County 4-H youth, ages 8-18.
Beef, lambs, hogs, and goats are sold by the lot, one animal per lot. Meat birds and meat rabbits are sold by the lot, but there is one pair per lot (i.e. 2 rabbits or 2 chickens). All animals are live at the auction and can go to a processor of your choice after fair. Exception: Meat birds are already processed and frozen prior to fair, winning bidders take home their frozen birds after the auction--We will provide a cooler.
