**NEW for 2025**Mandatory VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION for enrolled adult volunteer eligibility. (Board members are exempt)
If you are an adult/parent volunteer or interested in volunteering and can answer YES to one of these questions, you need to attend one of the volunteer orientation sessions (see page 5 for workshop dates and times).
Do you educate youth on a subject matter by leading a project or a short program more than one time a year?
Do you teach a life skill to youth in a club or county project area more than one time a year?
Do you help youth develop skills by providing feedback(i.e. judging/evaluating) more than one time a year?
Do you organize events & activities for youth more than one time a year? Do you lead a 4-H class, meeting, or workshop, as instructor, more than once a year?
If you are unsure, you can call the 4-H Office at 716-433-8839 ext. 232, 239, 241 or 243 for more information or to confirm if the volunteer orientation is needed for your role in 4-H.
Adults will not be able to enroll at the office without attending a volunteer orientation.
**Yes, you can still volunteer with 4-H without attending the orientation but please RSVP so we know which date and time you will be joining us.
If you are not an active volunteer yet, but would like to learn more, you are also welcome! Volunteer opportunities will be covered at our orientation.
Mandatory Volunteer Meetings Offered: (For ages 18+)
Only need to sign up for one option.
Option #1- Wednesday, November 13 at 10:00am
Option #2- Wednesday November 13 at 7:00pm
OR Option #3- Saturday, December 7 at 10:00am
Place: Auditorium (4-H training center)
