Eat Smart NY
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County is a part a statewide program called Eat Smart New York. We help families with limited incomes to eat more fruits and vegetables, drink fewer sweetened beverages and practice healthy lifestyles.
Eat Smart New York Nutrition Education is free to all individuals who qualify for benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

Eat Smart New York is a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Nutrition Education program (SNAP-Ed). SNAP-Ed is a USDA-funded program, led in Western New York by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Erie County. Nutrition educators from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Erie County, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County, and The Chautauqua Center provide nutrition education and obesity prevention programming throughout the region
