Using a pressure canner is necessary when canning low acid foods. In this workshop participants will learn how to use a pressure canner by canning vegetables. A meat canning demonstration will also take place.
This workshop is part of a series of Food Preservation Workshops. You can sign up for one class or all 6! All workshops will be led by trained Master Food Preservers and will be a combination of a presentation and hands-on group learning experiences. All course materials are included.
Class size is limited to 15 participants, and registration is first-come-first-serve. There must be a minimum of 10 participants for this class to be held.
